The Boys
I write a lot about mommying and what I experience but I don't want this blog to be all serious all the time because my life is rarely serious so here is a little bit about my crazy boys who I love SO much.Name: Maverick DanielName Meaning: Maverick means a "strong and independent person who goes against the flow" and Daniel is my husband's first name.Birthdate & Time: Monday May 11th 2015 @ 3:09pmBirthplace: Truro, NSPregnancy Story: Was so excited to find out I was pregnant (I actually took the test in a Tim Hortons' cause I couldn't wait until I got home. Told my hubby by writing "Daddy" on the top of his coffee cup. Pregnancy went really well until about 30 weeks when I had really high blood pressure and was put on strict bed rest. Birth Story: Maverick was induced at 37 weeks and I had a pretty good labor. Laboured as long as I could without any pain control and then got the epidural just in time to deliver my beautiful 6.3lbs and 19.25inch baby boy.Sleep: Never.First Food: Pears! He hated oatmeal and still doesFirst Word: First word was "Dadda" but his first object work was "Airplane"Personality: So happy and joyful all the time. He has the most mischievous and adventurous personality and we wouldn't have him any other way. Favourite Food: Cereal. Cereal all day.Favourite Toy: Right now he is really into LEGO and anything Star Wars - especially Kylo RenWhat I love most: His tender heart. He is so loving and friendly - saying "Hi" and striking up a conversation with anyone anywhere. He loves interacting with people and making others laugh.
Name: Asher TiberiusName Meaning: Asher means "happy & blessed". He came at a time in our lives when we were overwhelmed with happiness and a feeling of being content. We really felt this was the person name for our second baby boy to always remind us of how happy and blessed this life is.Birthdate: Monday June 19th 2017 @ 10:20pmBirthplace: Milton, ONPregnancy Story: Again, so excited to find out I was pregnant. I couldn't contain the excitement when I finally confirmed it (even though I already knew) I immediately showed the pregnancy test to my husband who was pretty shocked (we are blessed with extreme fertility) and equally excited. I was much more tired this pregnancy (shocker, I had a two year old) but everything went well.Birth Story: Asher was born @ 39 weeks. That morning I started feeling little contractions but knew it was defiantly starting. Had a stretch and sweep done at my OB appointment that morning and was told by the end of the week we would have the baby. Contractions really started picking up and by supper we kissed Maverick goodbye, left him with Nannie & Poppy and off we went. Asher was born @ 10:20pm weighing 7.3lbs - exactly one pound bigger then his brother.First Food: Just starting on some pearsFirst Word: Nothing yet - but yells ALL the time.Personality: Happy, loves to laugh and just seems so wise.
